Why we host it
Many of the artists on the Molang roster first found their craft in a school music room, a community studio or a youth dance class. The Molang Global Philanthropy Gala exists to keep those doors open for the next generation. On Thursday, November 12, 2026, we return to The Beverly Hilton for a black-tie evening of performances and a live auction, with proceeds directed to music and arts education programmes for young people.
The partner charities for this year’s gala are announced to guests and listed in the evening’s printed programme. Molang does not take a share of auction proceeds.
The evening
Guests arrive for a reception, followed by a seated dinner and a running order that alternates live performance with the auction itself. Performances come from Molang roster artists across music and stage; the line-up is shared with confirmed guests ahead of the night.
- Reception — arrivals, drinks and an auction preview
- Dinner and performances — short sets from roster artists between courses
- Live auction — experiences drawn from across the Molang world
- Closing performance — a final set to end the evening
What goes under the hammer
Auction lots are built around access that money cannot usually buy directly. Lots typically include soundcheck visits, backstage tours with a production crew, signed stage pieces and creative sessions with roster artists. This year’s catalogue is circulated to confirmed guests before the evening, and every lot is described in full, including any dates, travel or availability conditions.
Winning bidders are contacted after the event to arrange fulfilment. Lots that involve a tour date or production visit are scheduled with the relevant Molang team, subject to the production calendar.
“The first time I played for anyone, it was on a borrowed instrument in a school hall. If one night in a ballroom puts instruments in more hands, that’s a good night.” — a Molang touring producer
Invitations and the waitlist
The gala is invitation only. Because guest numbers are fixed by the ballroom layout, we keep an RSVP waitlist for supporters, partner companies and friends of the roster who would like to attend. Places are released from the waitlist as invitations are confirmed.
To join the waitlist, email [email protected] with the names of the guests, your organization if attending on its behalf, and a contact address. The RSVP form on this site opens in your email app; a member of the booking team replies personally. A place is only confirmed once you receive a written invitation.
Companies interested in hosting a table or donating an auction lot can use the same address. Media inquiries about the gala go to [email protected].
On the night
Dress code is black tie. Confirmed guests receive arrival times, entry instructions and the evening’s programme in advance. Invitations are personal and non-transferable, and guests should bring the confirmation sent by the booking desk.
Questions about accessibility, dietary requirements or seating can be sent with your RSVP, and the team will confirm the arrangements in writing before the evening. Anyone unable to attend but wishing to support the programmes can ask the booking desk how to contribute to the partner charities directly.
