Talent Protection
How we protect the names, likenesses, safety and dignity of the artists we represent.Last updated October 1, 2026
Representation is about more than bookings. These are the standards Molang Showbiz applies to protect our artists, and what we ask of the clients, partners and fans who work with them.
Likeness and voice rights
An artist’s name, face, voice, signature and stage identity belong to them. Molang only licenses these within the scope an artist has approved, for a defined use, territory and period.
- Every campaign, endorsement or sync placement is approved in writing before it goes ahead.
- Creating a digital replica, synthetic voice or AI-generated performance of any roster artist requires that artist’s explicit written consent, given specifically for that use. General campaign approvals do not cover it.
- Recordings and footage captured for one project may not be reused to train models or generate new material without separate consent.
Image approval
Artists, or their authorized representatives, review key images, retouching and edits before publication for campaigns and official promotional material. Contracts set out approval windows so that partners can plan around them. Media photography at Molang events is governed by the accreditation terms issued with each pass.
Security at events
Our touring and events teams plan security for every engagement alongside venues and promoters. That includes controlled access to backstage and green-room areas, accredited-only zones at premieres and galas, managed arrival and departure routes, and clear procedures for meet-and-greet sessions. Guests and partners are expected to follow staff and security instructions at all times.
Minors and the Prodigies program
Molang does not represent anyone under the age of majority without the full involvement and written consent of their parent or legal guardian. Our Prodigies program, which develops emerging artists, currently includes only adults. If that changes, any minor would be represented under additional safeguards, including guardian approvals and supervised working arrangements.
Anti-harassment code
Everyone who works with our artists, including clients, crews, production partners and our own staff, is expected to treat them with respect. We do not tolerate:
- harassment, bullying or discrimination of any kind;
- unwanted physical contact or sexual conduct;
- pressure to work outside agreed terms, hours or safety arrangements.
Artists can raise concerns with their agent or any senior member of our team at any time. We will act on credible reports, which can include removing someone from a project or ending a working relationship.
Impersonation and scams
We are aware that people sometimes pose as agents, managers or artists to request money or personal information. Please remember:
- Molang only corresponds from @molangshowbiz.com email addresses;
- we never ask for payment to audition, to join the roster, or to “secure” a meeting with an artist;
- roster artists do not ask fans for money, gift cards or private financial details.
If you receive a suspicious message using our name or an artist’s name, do not send money or information. Forward it to [email protected] so we can check it.
