Exclusive Rights

What exclusivity means at Molang, from representation to booking windows and roster content.Last updated October 1, 2026

Exclusive representation

When an artist signs exclusively with Molang Showbiz for a particular area of work, Molang is their sole agency for that work during the term of their agreement. For promoters, brands and producers, that means requests for that artist in that area should come to us, and offers made elsewhere will be referred back. This keeps negotiations in one place, avoids double-booking and gives every partner a single, accountable point of contact.

Exclusivity is defined artist by artist. It may cover live touring but not film, or one territory but not another. If you are unsure whether we handle a particular request, write to [email protected] and we will confirm or point you in the right direction.

Booking windows for tours and residencies

Major productions depend on careful scheduling. For tours and residencies, Molang may agree exclusive booking windows: periods around a run of shows when an artist will not accept competing performances nearby. Examples include the dates around The Golden Zenith World Tour and the Solstice Pulse residency at Sphere, Las Vegas.

  • Windows protect ticket demand and the audience experience for the scheduled shows.
  • They are agreed with promoters and venues in each contract, not set by this website.
  • Private, corporate and appearance requests during a window are reviewed case by case.

Content and footage exclusivity

Footage, photography and audio captured at Molang shows and productions are tightly controlled. Some of it is reserved for specific projects; for example, material filmed for the Golden Zenith: Live concert film is held exclusively for that production until its release plans are confirmed. Similar holds may apply to footage from residencies, premieres and the Molang Global Gala & Honors.

As a result:

  • professional filming and photography at our events require accreditation or a written license;
  • accredited media may use material only within the terms of their accreditation;
  • behind-the-scenes and rehearsal content is not available for licensing unless an artist approves its release.

Requesting a license for roster content

Molang can license approved roster content, including stills, performance clips, artwork and, through our Global Brand Endorsements division, music sync for campaigns. To request a license, email [email protected] for editorial use, or [email protected] for commercial use, with:

  1. the artist and the specific material you would like to use;
  2. the intended use, media, territory and duration;
  3. your organization and a contact for contract questions.

Every license needs the artist’s approval and is confirmed only in a signed written agreement. Sending a request does not grant any rights to use the material. We will reply by email to let you know whether the request can go ahead and what the next steps are.
