Talent Submissions

Molang Showbiz is an invite-only, curated agency. Here is how new talent comes to our attention, and how to stay safe from impersonators.

Molang Showbiz represents a deliberately small roster. That focus lets our agents, touring producers and business affairs teams give every artist real attention, but it also means we take on very few new clients each year. Representation is by invitation only.

How we scout

Most of the artists we sign come to us through our own scouting. Agents across our Los Angeles, London, Seoul and Tokyo offices attend showcases, stage productions, screenings and live shows, and they follow emerging work closely. Producer and DJ Nova Rae, for example, came to our attention after her self-released edits gained traction online, and joined our Prodigies program in 2025.

Submissions through representatives only

We accept submissions only from entertainment attorneys or guild-affiliated managers acting for the artist. We do not review unsolicited material sent directly by artists, including demos, reels, headshots or scripts, and such material will not be returned or acknowledged. This policy protects you as much as us: it keeps ownership of ideas clear and makes sure a qualified professional is advising you from the start.

What representatives should send

Representatives may email [email protected] with the subject line “Submission” followed by the artist’s name, including:

  • A short cover note explaining who the artist is and why they fit Molang
  • Links to current work: a reel, recordings, or a recent production
  • Recent live, screen or stage credits and upcoming engagements
  • Current representation, contractual commitments and any existing exclusivities
  • The representative’s own credentials and contact details

Please send links rather than large attachments. If there is mutual interest, a senior agent will contact the representative directly. Because of volume, we cannot respond to every submission, and silence should not be read as a final judgment on the artist’s work. Representatives are welcome to resubmit when there is significant new work to share.

What we will never ask for

Molang Showbiz never charges artists a fee to be represented, to be considered, or to audition. We do not sell workshops, photo packages or “placement” services, and we never ask for payment, bank details or identity documents by email or messaging apps as a condition of an opportunity.

Beware of impersonation scams

Scammers sometimes pose as talent agencies, including ours, to offer fake auditions, casting calls or contracts in exchange for money. Genuine contact from us only comes from addresses ending in @molangshowbiz.com, and we never request upfront payments. If someone claiming to represent Molang asks you for money, do not pay. Forward the message to [email protected] so we can confirm whether it is genuine.
